Ajax Turner Company, Inc. is Tennessee's largest beer distributor with its operation located in LaVergne. The company has been in operation for over 60 years and is family owned and operated. The Company distributes a variety of products including Anheuser-Busch, Yuengling, Heineken, Sparkling Ice products, among many notable others.

How this works: Ajax Turner Company is needing Summer Delivery Helpers to assist the route drivers with their workload during the busy seasonal summer months. As you can imagine, beer sales are at their highest during these warmer months and we need additional help during this time. This is a perfect for a college student who is wanting a summer job while they are out of school on break. Uniforms are also provided.

SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday starting at 5am on average. There is no set off time (can range between 11am- 6pm). The work is done when all deliveries have been made. Work as few as 2 days per week between Tuesday and Friday.

PAY: $17.00/hour.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in delivering products in a safe and timely manner to all customers, following an assigned daily route. Will repetitively lift 40-50 pounds all throughout the day.
  • Following instructions of Service Reps to rotate all products, stock shelves, report out of stocks, organize back stock, and relocate products as directed.
  • Maintaining published product freshness standards in assigned retail accounts by monitoring and rotating stock.
  • Presenting professional behavior/interaction to account employees/managers.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must successfully pass a drug screening.
  • Can build product displays, stock cooler shelves, stack cases, etc.
  • Ability to effectively and safely operate a dolly(aka hand truck, two-wheeler).
  • Friendly, courteous, works well with others, and maintains a professional appearance.
